Our Story
Short and sweet.
Early this year, two individuals, absolutely unknown to each other and living not too far away, learnt about each other’s existence. Our story started off with Aaron thinking he could use his “enigmatic” (yes, that’s what he calls it) charm to win Abigail (Abby) over, without realizing that she had come prepared with a few (just about, 80-ish) questions for him that left him awestruck and intrigued.
Over the next one-month, small talk turned into deep conversations about faith and life and what each was looking for in a life-partner, making sure to not leave out the laughter, mimicry and individual life stories that kept the conversation going.
With time, we both realized that our “poles-apart-personalities” found its commonality in the faith we shared, in the songs we grew up listening to and the dreams we had for our future. We struck a balance between Aaron’s impulsive and Abby’s calculative nature, between his plans of adventure and her plans to enjoy a cozy evening at home and his love to talk non-stop and hers to listen. Together, we found love, joy and comfort in each other’s company and more than that, an assurance that our journey together is part of God’s will in our lives.
